Shapes
Learn how to integrate preset and custom shapes into your projects.
Accessing Shape Tools
Available shapes in the Toolbar at the top center include Rectangle, Ellipse, Line, and Star. Click the dropdown menu next to the rectangle icon.
Creating Basic Shapes
Select the desired shape icon.
Click + drag the cursor on Canvas.
Hold

for 1:1 proportion (square or circle).Release the cursor to create the shape.
Path Controls
The Inspector's controls under "Path" include Width, Height, Corner Radius, Point Count, and Ratio.
Width: Used to make the shape narrower or wider. For lines, this controls the length of the line.
Height: Used to make the shape taller or shorter
Corner Radius: Used to round corners of a shape
Point Count: Used to control the number of points on the star (minimum 3)
Ratio: Used to control the distance of the Star's inner points from the center. This is shown as a percentage of the Star's overall diameter.
Editing Shapes
Double-click a basic layer to enter "Editing Path" mode
Draw an original shape with the Pen tool.
Editing a basic shape removes Path data (i.e., width, height) and any associated keyframes. Therefore, it is best to enter Edit Path Mode before animating it if you plan to make customizations.
Edited Shape Controls
Corner Radius: Used to shape and animate rounded corners.
Edit Shape: Used to customize further–adjust, draw, and animate paths.
